I think you got all of the reasons why people become lifers. I would probably add helplessness to the list.  Some people feel because they didn&#039;t get an education or feel as though they are not qualified to do anything else, they have to get in somewhere and stay there. Although I think entrepreneurship is the way to go, I agree being a Lifer is not bad as long as you don&#039;t want to be anything else.
